I have been an
animal loving person all my life and have
owned animals from as small as a mouse to as
large as a horse. I have also looked after
many different varieties of animals for friends and
relations.
Recently made redundant after working for 24 years
for a local school, I have decided to start my own
business as a dog walker and pet
carer, which I have a great amount of passion
for. |
When I left school, my first job was working in a
pet shop and I really enjoyed helping
people and providing advice about their pets.
When my own children came along, life with pets was
put on hold whilst they were small. Now they have
grown up, I can follow my passion and start working
with animals again
With my own dog, Tyler (The German Shepherd
that you can see on the home page) we have have
achieved the Gold Citizens Award
and we travel around the country going to
championship dog shows, demonstrating how to achieve
the bronze award and helping other dog owners
to achieve.
In March 2004, Tyler and I were invited to the
Crufts dog show to do an obedience
demonstration. Richard Hammond,
(from BBC's "Top Gear") joined in with his border
collie and passed his bronze test. He was very
pleased with himself and his dog and we even got
coverage on the BBC.
As well as giving demonstrations, I also compete
in dog shows and agility
classes and for the past five years have been
providing dog training classes.
